Who We Are
Education for Employment-Jordan (EFE-Jordan) is a locally registered non-profit organization established in 2006 that leads a national initiative to create economic opportunities for unemployed youth across the Kingdom. Our approach begins with an extensive labor market analysis that focuses on building partnerships with private sector companies throughout Jordan – from global multinationals to local small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) – to identify hiring needs and the skills required to perform their jobs. Next, we design targeted and sector-specific training programs for youth that result in direct employment or micro-entrepreneurship opportunities.
We operate in all governorates, with beneficiaries from both Jordanian and Syrian nationalities, as well as university and non-university students. Since our inception, we have trained over 35,000 individuals, of whom 70% are women and nearly 80% have been linked with various employment opportunities.
EFE-Jordan is part of the global EFE network, which has offices across the MENA region.
